To help let your home with us provide us with digital photographs of your property and we will include them in our marketing at NO ADDITIONAL COST! We can include one picture per property on our rental lists, and up to three on our website. Pictures really do help sell properties. A picture paints a thousand words....so make your photos grab prospective tenant's attention and shout "rent me!" . External Photos: Choose bright conditions to photograph your house. Light will make your house look better, and a picture with sunshine will always look more appealing, midday is normally a good time. Style the outside of the property (hide wheelie bins plant empty containers and hanging baskets for example!), stand on the opposite side of the road for the shot. Internal Photos: The photo is the first impression of your home. Get your home as tidy as if a potential tenant was about to visit. Style them to look homely and inviting, cover bear beds, add cushions and books etc. Turn on the lights on in the room and open the curtains. Get as much of the room in shot as possible. Crouching down in the door-way is often the best angle. REMEMBER: Make the property look great with your photos, but keep them realistic - your property wont let if it doesn’t live up to the high expectations created by your photos. Don’t include a bad picture in your details. It's better to include less than the number of pictures allowed than put in a bad shot which could put potential tenants off. If you do not own a digital camera, it is worth investing in one - not only are good pictures invaluable in renting your property, but they are also very useful when used in conjunction with inventories at solving deposit disputes! You can use a 35mm film camera and have the images developed onto a digital CD at your local photo developers. |
