September 30th saw the annual St Ann's Ladies Fashion Lunch. A fantastic day, for a fantastic cause, celebrating 40 years of giving this year.

Our new Altrincham Branch is now fully 'homes4u', with new signage, all of our systems and procedures, and a successful open event, which took place on the 15th June,
More Accolades...
Carolyn was recently shortlisted in the Inspiring Women 2011 Awards, which were celebrated on Friday 20th May. As just one of three ladies in the 'Business' Category, it was a fantastic achievement. Carolyn's passion has long been inspiration for all at homes4u, so she is a winner in our eyes!

The homes4u Football Team scored their way to a 5-1 victory in their first match on April 18th, beating the Contractor's. Our squads next match will be on June 1st, kick-off at 7pm, at the Wright Robin Leisure Centre, Abbey Hey.
Positivity
We believe commitment to training, and empowering our staff, are key factors to help drive the business forward and dispel the common myths about estate agents.
To get the year of to a positive start, the entire company took part in a motivational off-site day with notable speaker Marcus Childs, and the Management Team then went on to complete a be-spoke training programme focusing on 'Inspirational Leadership'. The course culminated in a team-building day which involved a morning of team-challenges, including the 40ft Leap of Faith and then the aerial-trek, 35ft up, a journey of self-confidence.
Cash4Kids Jingle Ball Live
We recently sent the winners of our team video competition to the Cash4Kids Jingle Ball at the MEN, with proceeds helping underprivileged kids throughout Manchester. The line-up was fantastic- 14 acts ranging from X Factor faves Olly Murs, Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers to bands like The Script and The Wanted. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves- and you can find more photos from the night on our Facebook page.

We were absolutely thrilled to win the UK Letting Agent of the Year beating stiff competition from big names like Countrywide and Belvoir. The competition was really tough, so this accolade is testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone at homes4u.

The homes4u Team Loves to Party
This year's annual awards ceremony was a fantastic success, and a double celebration as the company marked it's 20th year. As well as recognising the achievements of the business in the past year, individual successes were also rewarded in a fun-filled ceremony, hosted by a Ricky Gervais approved 'David Brent' lookalike!
Cupcakes for St Ann's Hospice!
Our Coffee Lounge Team baked up a storm for our Charity Cupcake Day on 21st September, when 100% of the proceeds from our new range of tempting cupcakes went to St Ann's. Adding to the fun, some of the team dressed up as characters from Alice in Wonderland, making it a real Mad Hatter's Tea Party!
New Altrincham Branch!
homes4u are delighted to announce that we are the new owners of 'Verve Lettings' in Altrincham, and to welcome the staff there, Sue, Janice and Annette, to the team. The offices will be re-branded over the next few weeks, and we'll be holding a welcome event on June 16th.
Annual Performance Awards 2011
homes4u celebrated 2010/11 in style this year, with a Monte Carlo themed Awards Night on May 7th. As well as recognising the achievements of the best performing team (Property Finance), and individual (Naz Rasool), awards were given for Branch Team Players, and those reaching five years service.

We've always enjoyed a good knees up here at homes4u, and never miss the opportunity to toast an occasion. This year's St. Pats was a double whammy for us....we opened 21 years ago on March the 17th, and we love Guinness!
Christmas Toy Appeal
homes4u are proud to be supporting Cash4Kids this Christmas, to help ensure that over 10,000 disadvantaged children across Manchester wake up to a wonderful gift from Santa this Christmas.
Toys will be donated to all ages of kids ranging from 0-17 years old. No matter how big or small the toy, it all helps towards making a child smile this Christmas.

Drum Roll Please...
We were very pleased to be selected as finalists in not one but two categories- Employer of the Year and Innovator of the Year, held in Hilton Park Lane, London in November.
Best Places to Work
Recognised for the second year running as one of Crain's Manchester Business' Awards, homes4u was selected as one of 10 companies in the 'Big' category, based on employee responses to an independent questionnaire.
Bronze Medal Winners
We are extremely pleased to announce that we have won the Bronze Medal for the nations Best Small Lettings Chain at this years Estate and Lettings Agency Awards (ESTAs).
The ESTAs are the only awards which are decided by customers, rather than an industry judging panel, and which are awarded for customer care, rather than an application pack.
A huge thanks to all our amazing landlords who took the time to complete the questionnaire that won us this award.
