Maggie’s Manchester Culture Crawl 2018

On Friday 28th September we took part in the Maggie’s Manchester Culture Crawl 2018.

This September marked the third annual Culture Crawl and the largest yet with over 300 walkers marching the 10km evening walk in support of friends and family who have been affected by cancer.

It was a brilliant night with so much energy, excitement and eight unique stops along the way just for Maggie’s. Cheered off by a local brass band and the fire service there was something for everyone, from stencilling at the Whitworth Gallery, musical interludes at the Royal Northern College of Music and finishing with food, drink and more live music at the Mayfield Depot!

For me personally this was the first time I had attended the ‘crawl’ and I cannot wait for next year (with a new record crowd fingers crossed). Hope to see you there!

Maggie’s in Withington, our local partner charity and a charity close to our hearts is now in its third year in Manchester. They provide free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their families and friends.
