The homes4u team is expanding...

Since the New Year it has been a busy few months for homes4u, in terms of business and also in terms of personnel. Due to continued growth the homes4u family has been expanding and we have had a few new starters that we would like to introduce you to!

So without further ado, here they are to tell you a bit about themselves, their experience and their roles in the homes4u team. Welcome Christina, Andrew, Lily, Michelle and Shaun take it away!

 

 

 

  

Christina Smyth.jpgChristina Smyth – Property Manager 

Hi I’m Christina, I joined the property management team at homes4u at the end of 2016 with four years previous experience within property management. My role at homes4u involves looking after a portfolio of properties and ensuring a high level of service to both landlords and tenants. Originally I am from Liverpool but have lived in Manchester for the last seven years. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and traveling.

 

Andrew Moran.jpgAndrew Morann - Property Manager

Hi there my name is Andrew. Before moving to Manchester several years ago, I attended Newcastle University where I achieved a BA Hons in Geography and Planning. After leaving university I worked in various customer service roles before joining the Property Management team at homes4u in 2016. As one of the team of property managers I look after a portfolio of properties to ensure high levels of customer service for our managed tenants and landlords.

Our property management portfolio currently stands at 1500 properties. As key members of the Property Management team, Christina and Andrew will be looking after a number of these and will be based out of our Withington office. Both new starters have already had some lovely feedback from Tenants and Landlords, and we know that they will be great additions to the team! We have found that our viewings diaries have been very full recently so Lily has come on board to help guide potential customers around the properties and meet the growing demand. Lily Jayne Maher.jpgLily Jane Mayer – Viewings Representative

Hi everyone I’m Lily. I joined the team at the Fallowfield branch in January 2017 in the role of Viewings Representative. My role is to show potential buyers and tenants around our available properties. I have lived in Manchester the majority of my life and studied towards a degree in Psychology here at the University of Manchester. I have gained a high level of experience in customer service throughout the hospitality industry over a number of years, and decided to put my skills to better use by starting a career in property. In my spare time I like to go to the gym, mainly to sit in the Jacuzzi and people watch! I also enjoy shopping, going out with friends and travelling around the UK.

Our Property Accounts team ensure the correct and speedy processing of funds, from rents to deposits. We have dedicated separate rentals and property management teams, to enable the most thorough and effective service for both Landlords and Tenants. Michelle is part of the arrears team where our managed arrears level on average is less than 2%.

Michelle Brobbin.jpgMichelle Brobbin – Arrears Administrator

Hello, I’m Michelle. For the most part of my career I worked in the department of Work and Pensions as an Admin Officer, processing various benefits and appeals for just over twelve years. In my role as Arrears Administrator at homes4u, I manage rent and service charge arrears for the property management portfolio as well as chase outstanding payments with tenants and guarantors. In my time outside of the office I enjoy shopping, eating out and watching films.

With more and more going digital these days and the growing importance of social media within marketing we have brought Shaun in from the Juice Academy on an apprenticeship. He will be helping us to meet our ambitious marketing goals as we make further strides as a company online.

Shaun Daniels.jpgShaun Daniels – Digital and Social Media Assistant

Hello everybody my name is Shaun. I joined homes4u in February of 2017 as a Digital and Social Media Assistant as part of The Juice Academy apprenticeship program. My role is to be the voice of the company online and manage the overall digital presence of homes4u across our social media accounts. In my spare time I enjoy going out with friends to catch-up over a few drinks or playing video games, spending time with loved ones, going to the gym and tinkering with computers.
