Following the UK Government’s decision to proceed to Step 4 out of lockdown in England from 19 July 2021 we have reviewed our Coronavirus policy.
Cases of COVID 19 in England and specifically the Greater Manchester area are still high. There remains a risk of catching or passing on the virus even where individuals have received both vaccinations. On considering the risks to the public and our team we will be exercising extra caution. This will be reviewed on a regular basis and may change when infection rates decrease.
Our branches are staffed and accepting walk-in appointments, we ask all visitors to wear a facemask on entry unless exempt.
If you are a tenant, due to moving in or out of a property, this is by appointment only. Please contact our property management team one week prior to your move date to make an appointment.
We are only able to accept contactless payments, talk to our team for more information.
No appointments should take place if any person on the property is showing symptoms of Coronavirus or self-isolating. This includes but is not limited to; viewings, maintenance, valuations, marketing appointments, mandatory safety checks, check-in and check out
Your property search and viewings.
Please start your property search online, all of our properties for sale and for rent are published in real time to our website homes4u.co.uk.
Due to the number of cases in Greater Manchester all initial viewings will be virtual. A member of our team will be able to guide you through our virtual tours and answer any questions you may have. Following a virtual viewing if you are seriously interested in making an offer we can arrange a physical viewing.
We are unable to drive clients to appointments, please make your travel own arrangements.
We request that the numbers of persons attending viewings and the number of different households is kept to a minimum
We ask all those attending viewings and our agents to wear face coverings when attending viewings unless you hold a medical exemption. .
Please sanitize your hands before entering a property and also when you leave.
Move-in dates will be rearranged where one of the parties falls ill or is advised to self-isolate, we will work with clients should this situation occur.
General maintenance will be postponed where a member of the household has coronavirus symptoms or is self-isolating.
Contractors will contact households in advance to check that no members of the household have coronavirus symptoms or are self-isolating. They will ask again before entering the property.
We will request our contractors continue to wear masks when carrying out appointments unless they have a medical exemption.
If a member of the household is clinically extremely vulnerable we ask our contractors to take additional precautions.
